Description
PROJECT SUMMARY
This solicitation is seeking bids only for the renovation of Facility F641. Only submit a bid on Schedule C, section 01 22 01 for XTLF 19-1012 Renovate Office Unaccompanied Housing – F641. The construction documents include details for five different facilities on Vance AFB: Facilities F641, F642, F643, F644 and F645. Contractor to carefully review entire construction plans and specifications for information related to the full renovation of facility F641. The bid for F641 shall be complete, in-place for a fully functional facility, per the plans and specifications. Any work associates with facilities F642, F643, F644 and F645 will be solicited separately in the future.
Vance Air Force based is considering seeking renovations bids for the renovations to the existing officer dormitories. The main intent of the work is to bring the Officer Dormitory F641 into compliance with Air Force and code requirements, based on the following scope of work:
Replace portions and abandon portions of the existing HVAC system and replace with PTAC system. Repair or replace water damaged drywall near windows. Replacement of windows in each room and the exterior aggregate panels near windows. Renovation of kitchen including: Repair, replace, and renovate surfaces damaged by mold. Installation of anti-scaling system to mitigate hard water build up on kitchen fixtures. Replace electric burners in ranges to make max temperature compliant. Renovation of bathrooms, including but not limited to: Sink with vanities, toilets with full lids, floor tile, shower fixtures, shower surface or liner and drains. Connections for future installation of bidets shall be implemented in eight rooms per facility. Enclose existing breezeways and repair entrance stairs. Modify site grading, parking, sidewalks, and ramps for compliance with architectural barriers act. Upgrade of electrical service including electrical panel board, transformers, and feeder lines. Renovate two rooms per facility to make accessible. Renovation of fire alarm system within each vestibule, including replacing existing pull station with new at code required locations and providing for new smoke detectors connecting to existing fire alarm panel. Repair and replace worn and damaged surfaces and materials as noted in design drawings.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS:
The Contractor awarded will need to provide information to have business set up for payment. Also will need to fill out forms for Reps & Certs, W-9, & Authorization Agreement For Vendor Automatic Electronic Funds Transfer. If you are large business you will need to be set up on 45 days net terms and small business will be 30 days Net terms. You must also provide three References of similar like work within the past two years, and Technical Approach in your bid package.
Pre-Bid to look at the site is scheduled on 13 May 21 2 p.m. Central time zone. Award will be contingent upon approval of funds, reference checks, D&B rating, and low cost acceptable.
