Description
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources and to determine if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. This is not a Request for Quote (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research. No funds are available to fund the information solicited.
The AFLCMC/HBK (Tinker) located at Tinker Air Force Base is requesting information, pursuant to FAR PART 10, in support of Market Research to identify potential sources for Replacement of the AN/MPN-14K Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR)
The Indicator Control Box (C-8625/T) “A-Box”. As detailed in the DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) the scope of work is to develop, test, manufacture, and deploy a total of forty-eight (48) “A-Box” units, to include forty (40) production units, four (4) First Article Test (FAT) units and four (4) spare units, along with the complete technical data package (TDP). Upon completion of the FAT and acceptance by the Government/Program Office, the Contractor will assemble remaining units and will distribute them to the units and locations identified in Table 1. First article units will be removed and shipped to Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) and remain installed in the system mock-up and will not be considered production units. Additionally, the TDP and field-level maintenance instructions will be delivered to the ATCALS Program Office ten (10) days prior to start of full-rate production.
The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334511. The Government is interested in all businesses to include, Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime, and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.
The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice. Please limit responses or capability statement to three pages and include any concerns, possible issues, comments, or suggestions relative to those points in the statement. Any format is acceptable. Also include contract number, relevant information, on the company, and if available, brief descriptions of recent and relevant projects for products similar to that described in the draft technical specifications. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought.
