Description

The Department of Navy (DoN), Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Management Air, Specialized and Proven Aircraft Program (PMA-226) Adversary F-5 Integrated Product Team (IPT) is requesting proposals for F-5N/F J85-GE-21C Whole Engine Inspection and Repair Services. The Contractor shall provide domestic F-5F/N J85-GE-21C 900/1800 Hour Special Inspections, stand-alone testing, and select Repair of Repairable(s) associated with the J85-GE-21C Engine Flight Hour (EFH) Program. The resulting contract vehicle will be a Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (MA/IDIQ) with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursable contract line item numbers (CLINs). The planned ordering period is one (1), five (5) year base and one (1), four (4) year option ordering period for a total ordering period of nine (9) years. The 52.217-8 clause, Option to Extend Services, is included in this contract to allow for up to an additional six (6) months of services. This requirement will be conducted on the basis of full and open competition. The North American Industries Classifications System (NAICS) for this procurement is 336412, Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing. The Product/Service Code (PSC) for this procurement is J028, Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment ? Engines and Engine Parts Manufacturing. The proposal submission deadline is Friday, 17 February 2023 at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). All volumes of the proposal shall be submitted electronically through the Solicitation Module of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at https://piee.eb.mil.
