Description

This is a non-personal services contract with the base year and to provide for laundry, dry cleaning, and alteration/repair services for Waukegan High School Army JROTC program.  Waukegan High School JROTC has approximately 777 students who wear the Army Service Uniform (ASU) consisting of coat, trousers, and short sleeve shirts that need to be dry cleaned annually.  Approximately 500 of the ASUs need minor tailoring adjustments of the trouser and sleeve lengths.  Approximately 200 Army Combat Uniforms (field uniform ACUs, often called “fatigues”) need to be laundered and folded annually.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Laundry and Dry Cleaning (L&DC) and Alteration/Repair services for the Army Combat Uniforms (ACU),  Physical Fitness Uniform (APFU),  Army Service/Dress Uniform (ASU) as defined in this Performance Work Statement.  

Offerors shall complete blocks 17a, 17b, 30a, 30b and 30c on page 1, SF Form 1449. All CLINs must be completed for the Base Year and the four option years. Offerors are reminded to complete and return all required certifications contained in this solicitation. 

Offerors shall submit any questions regarding this solicitation in writing to the Contracting Specialist and the Contracting Officer no later than 11:00 AM Eastern Time (EST) on 11 February 2022, in order to allow a written response prior to the quote due date, 10:00 AM (EST) 14 February 2022.
