Description
The FDIC Dallas Regional Office is currently in the process of expanding its footprint to include four additional floors and requires a contractor to procure and install office furniture and furnishings. The FDIC Dallas Regional Office will be leasing the space, and building out office space on the entire 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th floors and portions of the 4th through 9th floor, for a total of 102,800 SF. The leased space will accommodate FDIC employees and will be ready for occupancy on dates set forth per the construction buildout of each floor. There may be a need for further expansion of two additional floors. If this need arises, FDIC will implement an option for the additional furniture required for these two floors.
The FDIC is in need of a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, materials, design services, equipment and storage associated with furnishing modular office furniture, systems furniture, support space furnishings, training furniture, disassemble/assemble and installation services necessary to perform the requirements of this Statement of Work.
In addition, FDIC is seeking a solution to convert two types of Herman Miller 48 square foot workstations into 64 square foot workstations. FDIC awarded contracts for various sized Herman Miller workstations that were installed on the 4th – 9th floors. There are approximately a total of 84 workstations classified as “WS.03 – Workstation Telework 48sf” and 39 workstations classified as “WS.01 – Workstation 48sf”. The DRO requires approximately 36 additional workstations at the 64sf size to be built out from the existing 48sf workstations.
