The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, has a need for a Requirements Contract Buildings
and Grounds Maintenance Services at Crooked Creek Lake. The Crooked Creek Lake project is located in Ford City,
Armstrong County, in the western region of Pennsylvania. Public-use facilities owned and operated by the USACE at
Crooked Creek Lake include a boat launch, picnic area, campground, playground, nature trail, fishing pier and
Crooked Creek Lake.

An overview of the services required includes, but is not limited to: mowing, brush removal, mulching, pesticide
application, beach inspection/grooming, playground inspection, office cleaning, restroom cleaning, solid waste
removal, and raw sewage removal in accordance with procedures established in the Performance Work Statement
which will be provided with the solicitation. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel,
materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, and vehicles.

This procurement will be set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 561730, Facilities Support Services and the Small Business size is $30M. The anticipated base period of performance will be from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2024, with four (4) one-year option periods if exercised by the government. The total contract term including the exercise of any options will not exceed 5 years 6 months.

Please note that all quotations are to be submitted to the Contract Specialist, michael.w.boyd@usace.army.mil and CC lrp.contracting@usace.army.mil.  This Solicitation is not posted on the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and thus no quotes may be submitted through that portal.  

A pre-quotation site visit is scheduled for Monday, 7 August 2023 at 10:00AM EST.  Further details are included in the solicitation.
