SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE
Replace Parking Lot Lighting
Berry-Rosenblatt AFRC, West Hartford, CT
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The 99th Readiness Division, Directorate of Public Works, is seeking potential sources for the replacement of parking lot lighting at Berry-Rosenblatt AFRC, located at 700 South Quaker Lane, West Hartford, CT 06110. This sources sought notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal.
2.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, and technical expertise to replace the parking lot lighting in accordance with the specifications provided in the Statement of Work (SOW). The work includes but is not limited to:
- Verification of all measurements and specifications requirements at the on-site visit.
- Provision of new and unused materials and/or installed equipment in the original manufacturer's packaging.
- Compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Municipal environmental regulations.
- Coordination with local municipalities and facility utilities for identification of all underground utilities prior to excavation.
- Maintaining an effective quality control program and compliance with all safety regulations including OSHA and NFPA standards.
3.0 ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The anticipated period of performance is from September 2025 to January 2026. All work is to be performed between the hours of 0730 and 1600, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
4.0 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Interested contractors are invited to submit a statement of interest that includes the following:
1. Company name, address, and primary point of contact information.
2. SAM UEID Number and CAGE code.
3. Business size classification under NAICS code 236220.
4. A brief summary of relevant past performance and experience with similar projects.
5. Any additional information that demonstrates the firm's capabilities to meet the requirements of this project.
5.0 RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS
Responses to this sources sought notice shall be submitted via email to john.j.keelan.civ@army.mil and emily.schlee.civ@army.mil no later than Wednesday 1400 EST 7 August 2024.
