Description
General Statement:
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the 23d Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein.
The 23rd Maintenance Group is in search of advanced flight line test sets, capable of testing all Alternate Mission Equipment (AME) and Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) including pylons, launchers, bomb racks, and pods. The tester must be capable of performing all pre-load and functional checkouts through weapons emulation.
Addressing an armament test gap that exists across legacy 4th and 5th generation aircraft equipped with “smart” weapon technology (MIL-STD-1760), the tester must be able to support any platform and any “smart” or legacy armament system.
Quantity Required: 2 Testers
• Kit Must Support: AIM-9 on LAU-105, LAU-117 Preload, 1760 Pylon, TER-9 (Bomb/Rockets), MAU, all adapters, Chaff/Flare testing on USAF/ANG A-10 weapons systems.
• AIM-9 System Checks: The tester must be able to test all aspects of the AIM-9 system.
• CICU Follow-ons: The tester must have capability to preform all Weapons CICU follow-on checks.
• 180D Functional Checks: The tester must have capability to preform all Weapons 180D Functional checks.
• This includes 1760 system, Maverick system, and EJ/SJ Functional checks.
• AME Follow-on: The tester must have capability to preform all Weapons AME follow-on checks.
• LAU-131/68 (Rocket Pod) Checks: The tester must have capability to preform all Weapons rocket pod Functional checks.
• LAU-117 EOR Checks: The tester must have capability to preform stray volts checks on LAU-117s at EOR.
• C/F Stray Volts: The tester must have capability to preform stray volts checks on C/F system.
• Warranty: Minimum 5-years from date of shipment
• Warranty must cover repair or replace of any assembly or subassembly that fails during the warranty period

The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs."
