US ARMY EUROPE TRUCKS AND TRAILERS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)

The US Army is soliciting feedback on the draft purchase description for a potentially upcoming requirement for 95 Truck Tractors and 123 Trailers.  Please review the requirements and provide any questions or feedback directly to the POCs identified in this posting. Specifically the government would like the following questions answered:

• Are there any requirements in the description that are unduly restrictive requirements, or requirements specific to a single manufacturer?
• Are there any requirements that are not typical commercial requirements?
• What are normal delivery estimates for a requirement of this size?
• The US Army would like to maintain the ability to do maintenance on the trucks and trailers in house. Would this negate or affect the manufacture warranty?
• What does your standard warranty include and do you offer an extended warranty? Please provide documentation describing the coverage and limitations.
• If a request for proposals is released, what would the lead time be to provide a proposal? Would you be able to support an accelerated timeline?
• Are you currently registered on SAM.gov? Will you accept Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) for any potential payments?

In addition to the questions above, please provide any additional feedback or suggestions to improve this requirement. The government intends to regularly update this listing with answers to any questions submitted in response to this synopsis.

This notice is a Request for Information (RFI) and is not a request for proposals. No award will be made off information received in response to this RFI.
