Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Other than Small Businesses and Small Businesses, including VIP-verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 221310 - Water Supply Systems. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Requirements: Identify through analysis the reason/s for wet packs, chamber scale, and instrument staining. Scope: Vendor shall follow AAMI guidelines relating to Steam Quality: ANSI/AAMI ST79 3.3,4.2. Testing of the steam shall be performed during business hours three times during a one-day time period. Results along with recommendations shall be provided by the vendor in document form by use of email. Specific Tasks: Steam testing shall be performed at the point from the wall prior to the steam entering the sterilizers. The steam test will follow AAMI guidelines relating to Steam Quality: ANSI/AAMI ST79 3.3,4.2. The Steam Quality Testing Package will consist of Steam dryness test, Steam superheat test and non-condensable gas test. The contractor will schedule a date with the COR/designee for on-site testing of the steam coming to the sterilizers from the wall. Results of tests and recommendations shall be submitted to the COR in document form by use of email no later than 30 days after completion of testing. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address if applicable, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort and documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, SOLE SOURCED OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 3:00 PM Local Time (Central), Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
