Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Qiagen LLC, 19300 Germantown Rd, Germantown, MD 20874-1415. The NAICS code is 334516, and the requirement is for the following items:

The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Qiagen LLC is the exclusive US distributor and manufacturer for the EZ2 Connect.  The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12.  THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.  If no affirmative written responses are received by 8:00am EST on 8 September 2022, an award will be made without further notice.  Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.  A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
