Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) SAM UEI number (f) Cage Code Socioeconomic status ( e.g., Services Disabled Veteran Owned, Veteran-owned, 8(a), HUB Zone, Women Owned, Small disadvantaged, HUB Zone, or Other than Small Business (large business), etc. and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses and clearly defines the company’s qualifications and ability to provide cadaveric specimen and training. 5-159th Battalion requires six human cadaver specimens to support flight paramedic training during Mountain Medic 22. The six cadavers will be split into two groups: an Anatomy and Physiology lanes group, and a field exercise group. The anatomy and physiology lanes group of cadavers must be properly protected for A&P Instruction and available for two days, including overnight storage. The Field Exercise group will be available for one day. The contracted company must provide Scrubs, PPE (to include protective eyewear, Masks, Gowns, Gloves, Hats, and Shoe Covers), a lab technician to monitor, lab instrument clean-up, drop cloth clean up, transportation of the specimens, disposition of the specimens after training. In addition, the contracted firm will provide a Moulage Artist for one day during the field exercise portion of the contract. The Contractor shall provide cadaveric training as specify above.
The period of performance is for: One time Cadaver Training, Denver Co, one (1) two day period from 18-19 August, 2022 and one (1) one day period on 25 August 2022.
The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 611710– Product Service Code: 6515. Please note all companies who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (www.Sam.gov). The subject header should read ‘Sources Sought Response to “PANHCA-22-P-7021 Cadaver Training– All information submissions shall be marked Attn: Julie A. Ellington, Contracting Specialist / Anush M. Collins, Contracting Officer and should be received no later than 12:00 pm CST 30 June 2022. After review of the response(s) to this announcement, the Government intends to proceed with the acquisition and a subsequent solicitation will be published.
