QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR SOLICITATION 36C25024Q0080: Answers are in bold What are the measurements of the curtains? Sizes varies according to the area of assignment. The Standard Form (SF) indicates that it is due Jan 08, 2024, at 3:00 PM EDT , while SAM s main page for this solicitation indicates the following deadline Jan 05, 2024, 03:00 PM EST . Could you please advise? Quotes are due by email by Jan 08, 2024, by 3 pm est. Can you add a price list, or do we need to create one? Also, do I include technical description and price in my proposal or just pricing? (a) There is a section that states with Price Cost/Schedule (Section B.4) that has the entire breakdown to submit the pricing for each year of the contract. (b) Please read the entire solicitation, as Section E.5 has what the technical requirements are needed to be considered technically acceptable and what needs to be submitted by email for evaluation. Are all curtains currently "labeled?" Or will they require labeling? If so, we can do that, but it does take a lot of time. All curtains are labeled to where they are assigned. However, any new area is scanned and labels by the contractor. Is there an existing scanning system in place? If so, any info would be helpful. Or do we need to provide that? A scanning system is provided by contractor which you would have to provide. Contractor is also providing all major repair to track system in hospital and CBOC locations to include supply and replacement of broken mechanisms and mechanical issues to make sure all curtains function properly. It looks like there are 1153 curtains at the main hospital. Plus 397 at the 12 CBOC's. The Main hospital have a quarterly frequency? Is the frequency at the CBOC's quarterly as well? The curtains are set up the same as the CBOC. Curtains in the Main Hospital and CBOCs are rotated on a quarterly basis. Do you know if all the facilities will require us to provide temporary/spare curtains when we take their curtains down? All area is commonly provided two sets of curtains per area. The CBOC curtains are usually replace by the vendor from the second set they have. The Main facility maintains additional spare curtains for replacement, then send for cleaning and vendor pick them up for rotation. The new provider would be required to do this as well. At most of our larger facilities that we service, in addition to quarterly cleaning, they require loose curtains to be picked up and returned on a regular basis. This would be when a housekeeper would take down curtains from an isolation room or if visibly soiled. Do you know if they will require this as well? Vendor is also required to replace all shower curtains within facility and CBOC according to the notification of COR/linen supervisor. What is the expectation for reporting? Vendor is expected to report yearly rotation of each area at the beginning of the year so they can be verified by COR during rounds. Monthly invoice is expected to be submitted with labor conducted. It is possible to schedule a site visit to the main hospital. No site visit can be scheduled due to the upcoming holidays and scheduling conflicts. What are the measurements of the curtains? Is there any way of knowing this? The majority of our curtains are done by Interior Design there is a new area.  Mainly all our curtains are originally purchase by Interior design and then shipped to our vendor that is doing the rotation.
