Description
The Forest Service is seeking vehicle upfit services for multiple command vehicles. The listed parts are identified under the terms of the provision FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. Where known equal products are offered it will be listed.
All materials shall be new, suitable for the intended purpose and be free of any characteristics or defects in material and workmanship which may affect the performance, function, durability, serviceability or detract from its appearance of the finished vehicle. The government reserves the right to make the final determination of the suitability of all components. All conversions and modifications shall conform to all requirements of the OEM’s Modifier/Upfitter Guide. The contractor shall ensure that the application of major subcomponents and systems are compliant with subcomponent vendors’ requirements and recommendations. The finished siren amp and light components shall be programmed and function according to the attached “Siren Amp Basic Functions”; USFS will provide the siren amp program. The contractor will work with the technical representative on any issues arising due to changes in industry standard or equipment functions.
