Synopsis:

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN).  SSNs are issued to assist in performing market research to determine industry interest and capability.  This notice is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP).  No solicitation exists at this time.  No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis.  THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS.

Purpose:

In accordance with FAR Part 10, SSP is conducting market research to identify businesses capable of managing and performing capital maintenance of equipment and facilities at the Naval Industrial Reserve Ordnance Plant (NIROP) Bacchus located in Magna, Utah in support of the Trident II (D5) Missile Program. Northrup Grumman Innovation Systems (NGIS) is the contractor that has custody of the property and use of the facilities where the work will be performed. SSP is seeking capability statements which identify vendor capabilities to perform/execute the requirements identified in Section 6. Potential sources must have a secret security clearance, and have demonstrated functional and technical expertise to execute the maintenance requirements with personnel who have first-hand experience in the performance of capital maintenance of equipment and facilities similar to those located at NIROP Bacchus.

Description of Requirements:

SSP requires contractor support to accomplish all of the various capital maintenance projects at the NIROP Bacchus facility located in Magna, Utah. The required capital maintenance projects will be performed by technical and functional subject matter experts (SMEs) in capital maintenance. Updated facility drawings must also be provided with the completion of each project. The capital maintenance will consist of the following projects:

  • Electrical Repairs/Upgrades
  • OP-5 Compliance modifications
  • Electrical Replacement/Repairs
  • Building/Structural Repairs
  • Roof Replacement/Repairs
  • Signage Replacement
  • Control Facility Hardening
  • Window Replacements
  • Hypalon Earth Covers
  • Exterior Painting
  • Loading Dock Replacement
  • Road/Pavement Repairs
  • Utility Repairs/Upgrades
  • Roll Up Door Replacement
  • Air Compressor Modification
  • HVAC Replacement
  • Plumbing Installation/Repairs
  • Breakroom Upgrades
  • Crane Gear Replacement
  • Fence Repairs
  • Fire Protection System
