Notice of Intent: This contract action is for products and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.Sole Source Solicitation: The United States Army Contracting Command ? Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is issuing a solicitation (W912CH-24-R-0089) for a new, two-year, firm-fixed-price contract on a sole-source basis to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Northrop Grumman Corporation (NG), Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code: 8KP69, 3309 N Reseda Co 1, Mesa, Arizona 85215-9103. The acquisition is for the development and delivery of Logistics (Log) Products, specifically for the GUN, AUTOMATIC, 50 MILLIMETERS: chain, XM913 (XM913). The Log Products will result in an authenticated -20andP Maintenance Integrated Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) to support the integration of the XM913 into the XM30 Combat Vehicle. NG is the only known qualified source to perform this effort.The Government does not own the technical data to the XM913. The technical data is owned by NG. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. All interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
