Special Notice Special Notice Page 2 of 2 *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract to Getinge USA Sales, LLC, One Geoffrey Way, Wayne, NJ 07470. The estimated contract period of performance is August 15, 2023, through August 14, 2024 with provisions for four (4) option years. This requirement is to provide maintenance services for 15 Getinge Servo-U Ventilators and 15 Compressor Minis located at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. This full-service contract is to include all necessary labor, maintenance, tools, equipment, transportation, and parts required to perform preventive maintenance (PM) on the equipment. The vendor must have manufacturer certification to service and maintain the devices and have access to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) parts, manuals, and schematics to perform the service. The contractor s representative shall have received service training from the equipment manufacturer specifically on the model(s) listed and shall be capable of presenting certification of such training. The Government shall maintain the right to seek proof of qualification prior to award and anytime during contract period of performance. Getinge USA Sales, LLC is the only known factory authorized provider of service and support for the US market on cardiovascular equipment manufactured by Getinge (previously Maquet, Inc.). This includes but is not limited to the Getinge family of Servo Ventilator Systems. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by Wednesday July 19, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. (ET).
