Martin Army Community Hospital-Pathology Dept Fort Benning, Georgia
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC, Fort Benning, Georgia anticipates awarding a 12 month firm fixed price contract to Federal Express Corporation 900 7TH ST NW STE 550, Washington, DC 20001 to provide services for the shipping of blood products produced/manufactured at Sullivan Memorial Blood Center (SMBC)and other material as required by Priority Overnight Shipment. Pick up not earlier than 3 PM and no later than 5 pm at SMBC 9231 2nd Infantry Division Road BLDG 3380, Fort Benning, GA. 31905. Products are to be shipped Priority Overnight to the testing facility designated by SMBC. The contract will provide continuity of service until a new follow-on contract is awarded in FY 14. The period of performance for the 12 month contract is February 01, 2013 thru January 31, 2014. Contract will be executed as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Interested persons may identify their challenge to this sole source acquisition in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide timely and effective services no later than 8:00 A.M.
