Description
The USAID Green Transportation and Logistics Program aims to generate value for Georgia’s economy by strengthening the Middle Corridor1, catalyzing mass passenger transport, and reducing the climate impact of Georgia’s transport and logistics sector, thereby reducing the economic dependence of Georgia, the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and Europe on the Russian Corridors.
The Program will have two mutually reinforcing components. These two components are interwoven and designed to mutually reinforce one another - transforming the way Georgia thinks about and manages the movement of goods and people. The two
components for this program are:
Component 1: Strengthening Georgian Trade, Transport, and Logistics
Component 2: Catalyze Mass Passenger Transport
