Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation for the software design, engineering development, integration, testing, logistics and life cycle sustainment support for Common Infrastructure Services (CIS) Technical Insertion (TI), TI-24 and TI-26 baselines. The CIS enterprise environment is designed to fully leverage and support the Navy’s Rapid Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) Insertion (RCI) Business Model which underpinned the TI/APB Process and Open Architecture (OA) principles to deliver improved capabilities in time-phased increments to respond to Fleet-validated needs. The SWFTS CIS environment will be part of the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Control System (SCCS) and is a cooperative program with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).  

SUBMISSION OF QUESTIONS 

Potential Offerors submitting questions relating to this notice shall submit to the Contract Specialist, with a copy to the Contracting Officer, no later than 06 January 2023 at 5:00 PM EST. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Mr. Rufus Brown at rufus.brown12.civ@us.navy.mil, with a "CC" to Laura Arscott, laura.e.arscott.civ@us.navy.mil, using the Microsoft Excel “Bidder Question” workbook. Questions or comments may be subject to public release.  The Government may or may not be able to provide answer to all questions at this time.

The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided in response to this notice.  If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced at a later time via SAM.gov and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the response to this Pre-Solicitation notice.
