Kitchen Trailers
1. Description: This requirement is to rent a total of seven (7) trailers during the Loch Raven Campus VA Clinic renovation in support of the Baltimore VA Medical Center.
2. Scope of Work: We are seeking quantity (6) kitchen trailers and (1) office trailer. The contractor will provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the usage of the trailer rentals. Work will be completed in 90-days and must be delivered by 9/30/2024.
3. Salient Characteristics: The intent of this contract is to provide an external mobile kitchen operation including but not limited to the following:
Mobile trailer options with minimum dimensions provided below:
1 mobile kitchen cooking unit (28ft length, 8ft depth, 12ft height) all electric or propane
1 meal preparation unit (24ft length, 8ft depth, 10ft height)
1 mobile dishwashing unit (24ft length, 8ft depth, 10ft height)
1 mobile office unit (20ft length, 8ft depth, 10ft height)
1 walk-in freezer unit (10ft length, 8ft depth, 8ft height)
1 walk-in cooler unit (10ft length, 8ft depth, 8ft height)
1 dry storage unit (20ft length, 8ft depth, 8ft height)
Utility connections and compatibility requirements of mobile trailer units include but are not limited to:
Sanitary sewer connection or external holding tank and connection
Propane tank, regulator, LP fuel
Water supply connection 3/4" garden hose connection

4. Delivery and Installation: Must be delivered by 9/30/2024 to Loch Raven VA Medical Center, 3901 The Alameda Baltimore, MD. 21218.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Kitchen trailers shall be provided in good working condition at all times in order to provide high quality food service. Contractor shall be responsible for the preventative maintenance, emergency and general repairs, safety, and upkeep of all equipment furnished by contractor. The contractor shall provide at no cost to the VA, all emergency repairs of the mobile kitchen structure and equipment to maintain a safe environment as recommended by the original equipment manufacturer in accordance with the agreed upon schedule with the COR upon award.
6. Response Time: In the event of an equipment failure during normal working hours while in the performance of the Contractor s services, the Contractor shall notify the COR or designee immediately after discovery of equipment failure while on site. Every effort shall be made to keep equipment down to a minimum of 24 hours of less. If repair services are required to be performed on site after the normal working hours, the Contractor shall notify the COR or designee that services will be performed on-site.
