Description
The requested period of performance is 26-27 June 2022. The contract place of performance shall be at the contractor's provided facility, and must be located within 50 miles of Orange County, NY.
The contractor shall provide ropes courses, and 18 certified instructors, and supervisors to perform training to JROTC cadets during the JCLC session held 26 - 27 June 2022. JCLC Adventure North requires that a high & low ropes courses be available to 320 cadets during the two days of training. Each cadet will be able to use the ropes course for a full day (6.5 hrs). Cadets will rotate through both the high & low ropes courses during the day. Two days will be contracted to facilitate 160 cadets on one day & 160 cadets the next day. The two dates of training will be Sunday & Monday 26 & 27 June 2022. Groups will be kept in squad integrity, thus 16 – 18 groups will come through each day. Squads will be no more than 10 to a squad. The contractor shall provide the facility, equipment and safety harness/helmet gear for all cadets participating on the obstacles in support of the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge. Emergency medical capability must be present, and communications must exist to seek medical evacuation if necessary. Facilities must be self-contained so as to provide on-site training. The contractor must provide archery range setup, equipment, targets, and 4 certified instructors in conjunction with ropes training. Instructors must have current certification. A copy of certification must be provided to the government representative. Cadet squads broken down as described above will rotate through 1 ½ hr training sessions each day 26-27 June 2021. The contractor shall provide services in accordance with the terms and specifications as set forth in the performance work statement.
