Description
As outlined in FAR 8.405-6(a)(2)(i), this notice shall serve as the post-award Limited Sources Justification (LSJ) posting. On 09/20/2022, Task Order 28321322FDX030223 was awarded to EC America, Inc. against GSA Schedule GS-35F-0511T for Intercede MyID development services and technical consultancy services. This acquisition was conducted under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(b), which justify the limitation of sources. The MyID services are peculiar to only one manufacturer. Intercede is the copyright holder for MyID. Furthermore, while Intercede does not sell directly to the government, the company requires agencies to purchase through authorized resellers, since Intercede and its authorized resellers have legal access to the proprietary source code necessary to provide software professional services.
