Customer Description: The George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies is one of six U.S. Department of Defense Regional Centers and the only bilateral Center. It is also the only regional center for the Federal Republic of Germany.
An instrument of German-American cooperation, the center addresses regional and transnational security issues for the U.S. Department of Defense and German Federal Ministry of Defense, and maintains contact with a vast alumni network of security professionals.
Background/Overview: ES3 is a three-week orientation for new Europe/Eurasia FAOs organized by the Marshall Center FAO Training Program. The bus is needed from 15-20 September, which is a field study, consisting of engagements at U.S. European Command, U.S. Army Europe, and NATO Headquarters. Cities/Countries to visit: Garmisch, Germany; Stuttgart, Germany; Wiesbaden, Germany; Luxembourg; Bastogne; Brussels
Requirement/Project Objective:
The Government is looking to award a contract for a base period of one year, with 4 option years. Each contract year will require transportation of 35-40 passengers over the course of 5-7 days, through several locations typically through Germany and Belgium. Total distance is estimated at 1800 km. Requirement Period of Performance (POP) for 2024 is 9/15-9/20 (see detailed itinerary below). Annual dates for transportation requirement will vary but will always fall between September 1st – 30th. Sufficient notice of exact dates will be provided to vendor.
***PLEASE NOTE: The itinerary for 2024 has been set. Vendor MUST be able to supply transportation services for dates as detailed in the itinerary below. POP dates for all options years will be established on an annual basis prior to option exercise***
