Special Notice Special Notice Page 3 of 3 Special Notice *= Required Field Special Notice Page 1 of 3 The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 8 intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR part 13.106-1(b). The associated NAICS code for this supplies 339112 with a size standard of 1,000 employees and PSC Code 6515.The identified vendor is Alliant Healthcare Products, who is the exclusive equipment manufacturer s representative. The needed supplies are Olympus Urology Telescopes and Surgical Instruments which is anticipated and shall be awarded. Due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, authorized Manufacurer s representative evidence is required. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
