Intent to Sole Source

The United States Military Academy, West Point, NY intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Hygienics Industries Inc./Klenert’s for Dress Shields Style #1165, Size 3 ( 3 layers / Dri-Kleen shields) (quantity of 9000 pairs of sheilds) has been identified as the only source that can provide this requirement. This proposed action is a Firm Fixed Price contract. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this item falls under is 315990 Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing with size standard of 500 (Number of employees). This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All source eligible to provide this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulated the ability to provide this exact requirement outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within two (2) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that comparable item is available, and it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product though a sole-source contract, a sole source contract award will be made.
