Description

This contract was awarded for the procurement and delivery of two Secure Transportable Maintenance System (STMS) trailers.

The subject contract was not awarded competitively. Pursuant to FAR 6.305(a), the justification required by FAR 6.303-1 is included with this posting. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)(b) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This posting serves to meet the requirements at FAR 5.301(d)(1).
