70Z04723R43000004_Amendment 0012 Clarifications of Responses to Amendment 11, RFI Questions 83, 105, and 107, Regarding Solicitation 70Z04723R43000004. Also requests NMACC II POC information for access to DODSafe dropoff.

THIS DESIGN BUILD PROJECT IS POSTED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THOSE CONTRACTORS ON THE CURRENT DHS/USCG NATIONAL MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT II (NMACC II).

This project will Recapitalize Runway 1-19 at U.S. Coast Guard Base Elizabeth City, NC. Runway 1-19 is currently closed to all flight operations due to its severely degraded structural and functional condition. The paving work includes but is not limited to: Restoring Runway 1-19 (RPUID 24082) to operational conditions as a crosswind, alternate runway for the design mix aircraft at its present dimension of 4,518-feet in length and 150-feet in width. New pavement surfaces shall be Portland Cement Concrete; Full width mill and overlay of all bituminous pavement sections down to the underlying concrete pavement surface of Taxiways Kilo and Golf; (Option) Construct a concrete Turn-around pad for H-C130 aircraft ah the North end of RW 1-19. Construction shall be in accordance with the requirements of UFC 03-260-01 for Army and Air Force facilities based upon the HC-130 aircraft. The lighting work includes but is not limited to: Providing and installing operational LED edge lighting, guidance signs, lighting system components supporting taxiways for Runway 1-19 and various taxiways. All lighting shall comply with FAA standards (FAA AC 150/5340-30).
