Description
The James J. Rowley Training Center (RTC) utilizes contracted Role Players in basic and advanced training exercises. Role players are utilized for a variety of roles (victim, suspect, public, or protectee) depending on the training exercise. Role players must be highly skilled, are expected to follow scripts, and adapt accordingly to the training environment and scenarios. Role players are also required to have basic knowledge in law enforcement techniques and the USSS mission. Role players shall have previous experience and/or training necessary to accurately represent roles. Role players are consistently used in training scenarios which include surveillance, arrest situations, witness interviews, subject interrogations, and paint/blank gun exercises, as well as canine scenarios.
