The Department of Veterans Affairs Bath VAMC intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source open market action Name of Contractor: Trillamed Street Address: 30100 Telegraph Road Suite 366 City, State, Zip: Bingham Farms, MI 48025 The objective of this action is the procurement for: The Finger Lakes Healthcare system uses Vyaire Vyntus Pulmonary Function Testing equipment at Bath, Canandaigua and Rochester. For standardization purposes this will ease the burden on the BIOMED department who have extensive familiartity with this brand of equipment. With the current Pulmonary Function Testing Equipment already in use the facility will be able to utilize any equipment needed on other units saving time and facility money on repairs or switchouts. This makes the most economical sense for the facility and is in the best interest of the government tocontinue with the same brand name. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.
