Description
The purpose of this amendment is to transmit Q&A notes of the site visit, attendance list, and to
add clause 52.228-13 Alternative Payment Protection which was inadvertently left out of the
solicitation.
Quotes requested under simplified acquisition procedures, and a bid bond is NOT required.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. This opportunity will be a Total Small Business set-aside.
A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.
Payment Bond (SF-25A), Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC), or a Tripartite Escrow Agreement in the amount of 100% of the project cost will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract.
The anticipated period of performance for this project is 66 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $39.5M.
