Description
Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Riga, Latvia will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov when it is available.
The U.S. Embassy Riga, Latvia, has a requirement for insurance firms that are interested in providing Health Insurance Services to an estimated 150 local employees and approximately 220 eligible family members of the U.S. Embassy Riga.
The Contractor shall possess all permits, licenses, and any other appointments required for the prosecution of work under this contract.
The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.
The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements
