Description
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), General Supplies and Services (GSS) Portfolio, Internal and Emergency AcquisitionDivision (IEAD) intends to solicit proposals from contractors who can provide Global
Supply outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) Logistics Operations Solutions Support within Alaska. This notice serves as a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.2. The solicitation number will be 47QSCC20R0021.
Currently, GSA is the supplier of choice for both federal civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) consumers of office supplies, tools and hardware, houseware, furniture, and cleaning products. The purpose of the anticipated procurement is to support overseas customers by utilizing a more expeditious solution to supply items to the customer. The contractor will be responsible for sourcing, warehousing and delivering products within 3 business days after receipt of order. All other contract and requirement details will be included with the solicitation.
It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on March 1, 2022. The solicitationclosing date will be June 1, 2022. The applicable NAICS is 493190.
Amendment Number 0001 amends RFP 47QSCC22R0021 to notify all prospective offerors that a NAICS Code appeal was filed at the SBA Office of Hearings and Appeals on March 11, 2022. In accordance with 13 CFR § 121.1103(c)(1), the due date for receipt of proposals is stayed until OHA has the opportunity to consider the merits of the protest and issue a decision. Interested parties may file and serve arguments concerning this appeal in accordance with 13 CFR § 121.1103 and 13 CFR Part 134 prior to March 29, 2022
