Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-20-G-0005.  The anticipated delivery order is for the procurement of material kit required to retrofit MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) asset B1 (BuNo 168457) from Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) 3 capability to IFC 4.2 configuration program requirements.  The Contract award is anticipated no later than the second quarter of fiscal year 2025 and the anticipated period of performance will be for 24 months.

This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NGSC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, integrator, and producer of the MQ-4C Triton air vehicles and ground stations.  Therefore, NGSC is the only source with the requisite knowledge of the Triton design, operation, and maintenance to successfully provide the necessary engineering, systems integration, and sustainment support. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for information purposes only.
