Various Spares for MH65 Aircraft Lights Systems

Amendment 2 - Questions:

Do you know what kind of lighting you are looking for?

Do you have a list of ítems that the customer would like to procure?

Do we have to propose materials under your generic description?

• The list of items are the 04 lights, they can be off the shelf but must be adapted to our aircraft configuration (size an fit). If the company is capable of manufacturing (not distributing) aircraft external lights, then sample parts will be provided.
• The company does not have to propose materials, external lights must meet FAA specifications for aircraft external lighting systems.
• Not looking for distributors

Amendment 1 - Questions:

1. Can I ask what you are looking for in the response to the RFI?  Are you primarily looking for COTS type products that can be used in these applications? We are looking for COTS replacements for all the part numbers. The ideal replacements are plug and play, same mounting footprint, etc. This RFI is an initial call for vendors with lighting capabilities.

This is a request for information. The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), SRR/MH-65 aircraft division has a requirement for the procurement of Parts for MH65 Aircraft Systems. USCG ALC is seeking qualified sources for the Procurement of parts for MH65 Aircraft Systems, identified below:

Beacon light, Law Enforcement

Emblem (logo) light

LED/IR Anti-collision light 

Formation light

Vendors able to provide one or all the listed for MH 65 Aircraft Sytems are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought notice. Sample parts and technical specifications will be available to qualified respondents.

Responses should include the following:

• Name and address of contractor
• Cage Code
• Point of contact including name, title, phone, and email address
• Capability statement to include the lead time for delivery and standard warranty inlcuded with product.
• State whether the business can provide traceability to OEMs and Certificate of Conformance.
• State whether the business is currently classifed as Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), HubZone Small Business, Women Owned, Veteran Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small business in terms of the NAICS code 336413
• GSA Contract information if applicable and other information that provides the Coast Guard with a more accurate picture of the potential marketplace for this requirement. The NAICS code is 336413 and the small business size standard is $40M.

This notices does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not to be construed as one. Therefore, there will be no evaluation of responses to this RFI for award purposes. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resulting future solicitation where quotes or proposals will be requested. There is no date set for a resulting solicitation or if a solicitation will be issued. All submitted materials will be designated for Government Use Only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in repsonse to this accouncement and any follow up information requests.
