Description

An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract has been executed as a sole-source follow-on contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) to SRI International in the total amount of $9,198,405.00.  The resultant contract type is Cost Plus Fixed Fee with a five-year ordering period from 10 Jan 2022 through 9 Jan 2027.  Delivery/Task Orders were executed as services  according to the Statement of Work, as requested to being performed. 

The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) – Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of follow-on contracts for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized
equipment provision of highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, when it is likely that award to any other source would result in-a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition; or unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency’s requirements.
