Page 1 of 2 The following is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre- Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes or proposals at this time; however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Wilmington VAMC, Wilmington, DE 19805 has a brand name or equal requirement for a CD/DVD Burner. This item will be used by the facility to produce copies of Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine Imaging studies for patient follow ups. The brand name for reference: Sorna Vertex 25EI System Package. Characteristics required and must be met for equivalents: Input Capacity 2 bins per 50 discs each Output capacity 100 discs 2 CD-r and DVD-R Recorders High Resolution InkJet Black and Color Cartidges CD and DVD Media Media: white Installation, Warranty and 1 year maintenance Provided equipment shall allow sending of images from burner to PACS and VistA. Provided equipment shall allow burning of PET/CT images. Provided equipment shall allow importing of images via CD onto DICOM software platform. Provided equipment shall allow burning of medical reports from the facility s PACS and VistA. Provided equipment shall allow burning of DICOM and JPEG images and movies for heart echocardiograms from VistA accurately and without distortion. Provided equipment shall allow burning of images from the Planmeca Romexis dental software.
