Amendment 2: The purpose of Amendment 2 is to provide answers to questions that have been submitted in response to Combined Synopsis Solicitation 36C24724Q1040. Please continue to monitor the solicitation for any possible amendments/changes. Q&A Question 1. What is the evaluation criteria?  Answer:  The evaluation criteria is explained under the announcement description at FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES (NOV 2021) as well as in the attachment titled Solicitation PWS - Clauses and Provisions . Question 2. Is there an incumbent and if so, what is their award number and amount? Answer:  There is no incumbent. This is a new requirement. Question 3. What is the contract value or can you give me a range? Answer:  There is no contract in place. We are not providing the Government s cost estimate or range.   Question 4. Are there any requirements such as resumes, insurance, years of experience? Answer:  All of this is explained under the announcement description Instructions to Offers (ADDENDUM to FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES) as well as in the attachment titled Solicitation PWS Clauses and Provisions .  Question 5. What is the instructions to offeror?  Answer:  The instructions to Offers (ADDENDUM to FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES) is listed under the Description as well as in the attachment titled Solicitation PWS - Clauses and Provisions .  Question 6. Is this contract a new opportunity, or is it a follow-on to an existing contract?    Answer:  This requirement is a new opportunity. There are no existing contracts.       Question 7. If it is not new, who is the incumbent contractor currently providing these services?   Answer. Not applicable, this requirement is a new opportunity. There are no existing contracts.     Question 8. What is the current value of the contract?   Answer. There is no current contract. We are not providing the Government s cost estimate for this requirement.   Question 9. How would you like the proposal to be submitted and I also did not see the Place of Performance.  Answer. The Instructions to Offerors covers instructions for submitting quotes. If you have a more specific question or need clarification, let me know. Answer. Per PWS para 2.0, all work (except cremation) will be at the Contractor s funeral home accomplished within a 125-mile driving radius (area of performance) of CAVHCS and its facilities. The location, address for CAVHCS is 215 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery Alabama 36109. Question 10. Who is the incumbent? Answer. There is no incumbent. This is a new requirement. Question 11.
