Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice (SS) for market research purposes only. This information will be used to determine the availability of vendors capable of meeting the Governments specifications shown in the attached Description of Requirements (DOR). NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine whether there are potential qualified Small Business concerns capable of providing CAT 7 Husky Pumps for Trident Refit Facility (TRF), Kings Bay, Georgia. The customer is seeking to purchase four (4) CAT 7 Husky Pumps. See attached draft Description of Requirement (DOR) This notice does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Delivery will be 16 weeks after contract award (estimated). It is anticipated that any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm- Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of 2090 and NAICS Code 333318 with a Size Standard of 1,000 employees. Responses to this Sources Sought notice shall not exceed two (2) pages and shall be prepared using Times New Roman font no smaller than 12 point. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought notice or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls requesting a solicitation package will be accepted because there is no solicitation at this time In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the Point of Contact (POC) will not be provided and no appointments for presentation will be made. Responses shall be submitted by 4:00 P.M. ET, February 21, 2022. Any questions must be submitted in writing to kenneth.b.brown24.civ@us.navy.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted. This notice is for market research purposes only and IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary.
