Description

The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to the questions made by vendors in response to solicitation no. 36C24824Q0267. 1. Question: How big are the items that would need to be transported? Answer: The upholstery being transported vary in size. These range from the smallest item being the Ottoman (24 inches high x 24 inches wide), to the largest item being the three-seater sofa (72 inches wide x 30 inches high). 2. Question: How often would they need to be picked up? Answer: Transportation of upholstery may be performed at the Contractor s discretion. If the Contractor finds it more practicable to transport the upholstery to his or her facility to perform the cleaning or repair, they may do so. 3. Question: What size of a flatbed would be needed? Answer: For quoting purposes, the flatbed would be a standard size flatbed, which is between forty-eight (48) and fifty-three (53) feet long, eight (8) and a half feet wide, and five (5) feet tall.
