This is a combined synopsis/solicitation being issued under FAR Part 13 as a public competition for brand-name supplies.
The Library requires replacement trash receptacles, lids, and liners in select locations throughout the campus buildings. The current trash receptacle is a Glaro product and is the standard used throughout the Library. Locations have missing trash receptacles, while other have significantly damaged or non-standard receptacles. Facility Services needs to purchase this product specifically in order to match the liner dimensions of the product to fit existing receptacles, as well as purchase new ones. This receptacle standard also matches the current stock of trash liners that have been purchased by the Library custodial contractor, and will maintain that standard size of liner throughout.
Please see the attached solicitation and brand-name justification for additional details.
