Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project, which is located at Manatee County, Florida, will be dividing into a Base and Option. Said work will consists of excavating material out of the Manatee Harbor Dredge Material Management Area (DMMA). Approximately 482k cy of material will be transported via truck hauling, approximately 8.5 miles south to the Washington Park Placement Site. Suitable material from the DMMA will be excavated, segregated and placed within Washington Park to a maximum elevation of 30 feet (NAVD88) for the base and 55 feet (NAVD88) for Option A. The placed material will be surrounded by a perimeter silt fence. Project work also includes clearing and grubbing, sodding, soil sampling and testing, and environmental monitoring. The project will have an estimated period of performance of 575 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP) and includes the following:Base Work: 385 calendar days (includes 45 calendar days mob/demobilization)Option A: 190 Calendar Days. NAICS Code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, size standard $45.0 million.Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
