Description
Market research was performed through the review of previous acquisitions for the same or similar requirements, discussions with the requiring activity, and a posting of a sources sought notice. Through the results of market research and in accordance with FAR 19.8, the Deputy of Small Business, Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) and the Subject Matter Expert determined that this requirement would be solicited as a sole source 8(a) procurement. The requirement was accepted by the SBA and was issued to Rivet Operations as an 8(a) direct award.
