Description

*This solicitation package is a Request for Proposals that will result in the award of Firm Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, Multiple Award Contract (IDIQ-MAC) in support of Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCACs) and Ship to Shore Connector (SSCs) availabilities to meet future operational requirements. SSCs are the new version of LCACs. The craft availabilities will include maintenance, repair and modernization. The work may encompass the following availability types: LCAC Fleet Modernization Program (FMP), LCAC Post (Service Life Extension Program) SLEP Extension (PSE), SSC Post Shakedown Availability (PSA), Emergent Work/Restricted Availability (RAV) and LCAC Retirement (RET) Availability. *SSC Site Visit: A sample SSC will be available for a site visit on Tuesday, 3 May 2022 through Tuesday, 10 May 2022 upon request from the Offeror. The SSC is located at Assault Craft Unit Four (ACU-4) on Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story (JEBLC) in Virginia Beach, VA. All Offerors interested in a site visit must provide advance notice when they plan to visit the vessel. All Offerors shall contact the PM, a minimum two (2) days prior to the Site Visit for detailed requirements due to COVID. To receive access to Attachment J-3 (NSIs Category I and II), Attachment J-4 (Sample LCAC PSE Availability Task (CD/DVD format) and Attachment J-5 (Sample LCAC FMP Availability Task (CD/DVD format) provide a written request to Contracting Officers, Kiana Hamilton at kiana.hamilton@navy.mil and Amy Caraway at amy.caraway@navy.mil. These attachments may be transmitted via email, PIEE solicitation module or DoD SAFE except for the CD/DVDs (Attachments J-4 and J-5), which will need to be picked up at JEBLC. Upon your written request additional information will be provided for CD/DVD pick up for Offeror?s located within the Hampton Roads area (60 miles from JEBLC).
