Description

INTRODUCTION

The Naval Air Warfare Center- Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to solicit and negotiate a firm fixed-price (FFP) purchase order for the F-35 Integrated Test Force (ITF) at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The ITF has a requirement to remove and replace the existing (minimum one (1) Load Bank) UPS batteries, fans, capacitors, cabling as required to fully install and configure a new UPS system into the building 2780 Mechanical Room. Under the authority of FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.  This announcement is a Request for Quote (RFQ).

ELIGIBILITY

This requirement is being synopsized as an unrestricted acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 335999, size standard 600. PSC code 6150.  All interested businesses are encouraged to respond.  Specifically, the Government is evaluating the possibility of establishing this requirement as a Small Business/Other Socio-Economic Set-Aside.

The Contractor shall deliver all completed work NLT 09/30/2024

SUBMITTAL INFORMATION

Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this synopsis/solicitation. Therefore, it is incumbent on the Offeror to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the proposal.  The Government will award on a lowest priced - technically acceptable basis.
