Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions from potential offerors only. All other terms and conditions remain the same including the required submission of completed 852.219-75: VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting Certificate of Compliance for Services and Construction . Are the Cleaning Solutions provided by the VAMC or by the Awarded Contractor? Cleaning solutions such as: cleaner/disinfectant, neutral cleaner for floor, glass cleaner, will be provided by the Canandaigua VAMC. However, housekeeping carts, bottles, microfiber mop systems, dusters etc. will NOT be provided by the Canandaigua VAMC. Is the Awarded Contractor responsible for the Interior Window Cleaning? Window cleaning, as stated in the Statement of Work (SOW), is interior only. The VA does not anticipate the use of a ladder to accomplish the requirements listed in the SOW. However, the expectation that anything within arm s reach shall be cleaned. Will the inside of cabinets, drawers, shelves need to be cleaned? Including Dental, Radiology, and office space? Inside of the Dental cabinets, drawers and shelf space WILL need to be cleaned. Inside of cabinets, drawers, and shelf space located in all other areas/department(s), to include Radiology, will NOT need cleaning. Will office furniture and medical equipment/furniture currently in the area need to be cleaned? All EXTERIOR surface of furniture (chairs, desks, tables, etc.) currently in building two will need to be cleaned and dusted (free of dust/dirt) except for Dental cabinets, drawers, and shelf space. Will there be any locked doors requiring VA personnel to unlock before gaining access to clean? All doors will be unlocked in areas requiring cleaning.
