Scope of Work: Hector Work Center (Hector, AR). The Contractor shall reference the Schedule of Items, Specifications and Drawings for a complete description of work items. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items:

▪ Roof replacement - Work Center Building

▪ Roof replacement - Fleet Storage Building

▪ Roof replacement - Flammable Storage Building

▪ Roof replacement - Wildlife Shed

▪ Roof replacement - Pesticide Storage Building

▪ Roof replacement - Recreation Building

▪ (Option Item) Roof replacement - Gym

▪ The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials to remove and replace any damaged materials including eaves, roof decking, fascia, flashing, aluminum drip edge and all shingles and underlayment. Work also includes replacing all boots/flashing on all roof vents.

Project Name and Location: Hector Work Center Roof Replacements, located at the Hector Work Center, of Big Piney Ranger District in Ozark-St. Francis National Forest (Hector, AR).

Type of Contract: This is a Request for Quote which will result in award of a firm-fixed price contract.  Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive/responsible bidder. 

Set Aside: The project is set-aside 100% for small businesses per FAR 19.5. The associated NAICS of this acquisition is 238160 Roofing contractors (size standard $19m).  PSC Code Z2FB -REPAIR OR ALTERATION OF RECREATIONAL BUILDINGS.

Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is: Between $25,000 and $100,000.

Solicitation and Documents: The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://beta.sam.gov on or about 02-13-2023. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out.

All RFI's regarding this solicitation shall be emailed to the Contract Specialist adam.doyle@usda.gov. Once received by the noted due date, the government shall respond within 5 business days.
