  16. Description:  This requirement is for one Jones Act qualified, U.S. flag vessel to support Submarine Rescue requirements in support of submarine sea trials and other Fleet mission support as required. Vessel will be capable of installing the NATO Submarine Rescue System (NSRS) and Submarine Rescue Diving Recompression System (SRDRS) (though not simultaneously) which are used for submarine rescue. The laydays commence/cancel on 15 August 2022.
  17. Place of Contract Performance:  The place/range of delivery and redelivery will be Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, Virginia.
  18. Set-aside Status:  The decision to release this procurement as a 100% total Small Business Set-Aside is based on responses received from a recent Sources Sought Notice for this service.  All responsible Small Businesses may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. MSC’s Small Business Deputy Director has concurred with this decision.
