Description
This acquisition will be negotiated on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Johnson Controls. per FAR 6.302-1 utilizing FAR Parts 12 and 13, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedure and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) which states that for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines
that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name, or industrial mobilization)
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Award of firm-fixed price SUPPLY type contract is anticipated.
The required POP dates are to be determined upon posting the Solicitation.
It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the BETA.SAM.GOV website on or about 14 March 25 with quotes due on or about 18 March 25.
Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the BETA.SAM.GOV website and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed.
Electronic submission of quotes via BETA.SAM.GOV is not available at this time.
Facsimile proposals/quotes will not be accepted.
