36C24824Q0286 0001 The purpose of this amendment is to answer submitted questions and inform bidders that those who submit a quote will be scheduled for a one-hour session at a later date to showcase their product. See below. Quotes are due 01-19-2024, 11:59 PM EST to jose.delgado3@va.gov. Submitted Questions and answers: 1. Is there an incumbent on this contract? If so, please provide the incumbent name, current contract number, Period of performance, value of the contract. Answer: J.E. FEDERAL ENTERPRISES, LLC., 36C24819P0020, 10-01-2018 to 04-30-2023, $852,500.00. 2. Would you please confirm the number of staffed beds for VISN 8; this information is needed to provide a quote. Answer: Total estimated operating beds is 2,782. 3. How many people do we need to support simultaneously? Answer: 34,402, grand total of employees VISN 8 of which some may NOT be clinical. 4. How soon after bid closing will we be required to have the site up and running? Answer: Date required for staff to access database is April 1, 2024 (start date of contract.) Training: TBD and pending vendor selection. Presentations: The evaluation methodology of the session will consist of three parts: Part 1: A total of 12 specific drugs from 6 therapeutic classes will be compared against the criteria listed in the provided Statement of Work. Specific medications will be selected during the live Session and will come from the VA Drug Classes as follows: o AM000 Antimicrobials o AN000 Antineoplastics o CV000- Cardiovascular o CN000 Central Nervous System o HA000 Herbs/Alternative Therapies o HS000 Hormones/Synthetics/Modifiers Part 2: As a vendor, you will be asked to demonstrate functionality of your database as outlined in the Statement of Work (for example: Contraindications/Adverse Reactions/Drug Interactions, etc.) Part 3: As a vendor, you will be asked to navigate your database through the presentation of four clinical scenarios.
